2 Thessalonians – Work While You Wait. False teachers claimed the Day of the Lord had already come. Paul wrote to clarify what must happen before Christ's return and to urge the church toward productive living.

1 Corinthians – Correcting the Saints. The Corinthian church, still young in faith, retained many pagan ideas and practices. Paul wrote to correct these errors and answer the believers' questions.
